Northern Gymnastics Club - FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • My child has not done gymnastics before – is that okay?

Yes, we cater for all levels from beginner to advanced.

  • My child has a disability or health condition – can they still join the club?

Yes. We integrate children into the club wherever possible, however certain conditions may restrict a child’s ability to take part in gymnastics safely. We can discuss individual needs further, when you visit the club.

  • Can my child attend a taster session?

Yes. We regularly hold taster sessions, enabling children to visit the club, meet some of our coaches and try out a wide range of gymnastics activities, using our fully equipped gym.

  • How does my child join the club and register for sessions?

Please complete, the following form to register your interest. Pre-School Gymnastics or Recreational Gymnastics.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payment by cash or credit/debit card in person or over the phone. We do not accept cheques.

  • Do sessions run throughout the school holidays?

Pre-school sessions do not run during the school holidays; however all other sessions do. In addition, the club regularly runs school holiday programmes which may include 1 to 1 coaching, workshops and gymnastics camps. The club normally closes over the Christmas/New Year period.

  • What should my child wear to sessions?

New gymnasts attending taster sessions or their first gymnastics course, may wear a T – shirt with shorts or leggings. Thereafter we recommend that all gymnasts wear the clubs uniform, which meets all safety requirements. Club uniform is available to purchase at reception.
